I and my California Shinsen owe Anthony a great deal, bought this car 3 years ago very tired, Anthony did a great job bringing it back to life, he changes the following complete drive chain, exhaust, bushing and wiring harness, as you see I’m now 394k and looking for another 300k and with Anthony helps it will be smooth sailing, FYI he also has a ton of other Miata parts too.

The Torsen differential swap was executed flawlessly, improving traction and making every drive feel even more planted. Beyond performance, he took the time to widen the body, giving the Miata an aggressive stance that matches its newfound power. The big brake kit ensures stopping power is just as impressive as acceleration, and the MeisterR suspension upgrade took handling to the next level. Now, the car feels planted in every turn, delivering razor-sharp response while still being comfortable enough for everyday driving. What sets Anthony apart is not just his technical skill but also his dedication to making sure every detail is dialed in perfectly. After completing the build, he took the extra step of transporting my car to a respected tuner in Virginia to get it professionally tuned. Even after that, his commitment didn’t stop—he continues working with me on data logs to fine-tune the setup and ensure the car is running at its absolute best. That kind of dedication is rare, and it shows how much he truly cares about the quality of his work. One of the things I appreciated most about working with Anthony was his commitment to staying within budget. From the beginning, he was strict about costs and had every intention of keeping the project financially responsible. But, as any true car enthusiast knows, once you start upgrading, it’s hard to stop. My own stubbornness ended up pushing the budget way beyond what we initially planned, but Anthony was incredibly understanding and patient throughout the process. He never pressured me, always made sure I was aware of the costs, and worked with me to make sure every dollar was well spent.

There is no better than Anthony and the crew at the Miata Empire. I inherited my late grandfathers Miata in 2024 and when I got it hadn’t run in over a decade and had been sitting outside exposed to the northeast elements the entire time. Not only that but my younger brother had driven it briefly in HS and destroyed it (reason for sitting) he put flames on it and cut the hood and did all sorts of nonsense.
I found Anthony through Facebook and sent him pictures of the Miata and never expected him to drive all the way to me just to look at it. But that’s exactly what he did!! He spent over an hour with me going over the whole thing, educating me and gave me hope that I desperately needed. He towed the car for me at no charge and worked with me meticulously to create a budget that worked for us! I literally can’t even describe how grateful I am for him! He restored my grandfathers Miata from the pits into something that I never thought was possible. This man is a visionary and a serious treasure. I first met Anthony through a simple Facebook comment while I was searching for a new taillight a bumper for my first Miata. He has anything and everything you could ever need for a Miata at his shop is the first thing I thought when I went to get those two things. From that point forward I decided that any Miata related things would be for him. After dealing with the worst lifter tick known to man, we discovered that my first Miata was rusted essential beyond repair. Anthony was tasked with finding me a shell to transfer everything from mine into. He not only found a shell, he found the Holy Grail of Miata’s in Florida. The R-Package Laguna Blue Miata he found needed a full restoration project which he took on without a doubt. Not only did he restore the car so well that it looked like a different car, it almost looked brand new. All of the aftermarket parts from my first Miata were transferred over and he had brought me my (for the time being with more projects soon) dream Miata. To sum it all up, Anthony and The Miata Empire are THE experts when it comes to Miata’s. Excellent work, excellent service, and excellent people. The best…perchance.
